Teachers at the Khot 2nd School want to creatively meet students’ desires for greater intellectual stimulation by building an innovative learning space featuring educational games and art supplies, and incorporating modern teaching methodologies.
Renovations for the Khot Village Interactive Learning Classroom are complete! Here are some photos from the project:
A17 Chris Edling and his counterpart Shoghik Mkrtchyan received an FOA grant to turn a former storage room into an interactive learning classroom at the Khot Secondary School.
Student volunteers joined in the effort- cleaning, painting and decorating the space. Project leaders used a portion of the FOA funds to supply the room with games and furniture.
Since the opening ceremony the classroom has been popular with teachers and students alike. In addition to classes, various club meetings take place in the room, and students can stop by during their free time.
Thank you to the FOA donors who made this project a success!
